GKAD Kokaji Blue #2 Damascus Nakiri

Superior double beveled knives from the famed Kokajikai knife makers in Sakai. These are true hand forged 9-layer Damascus Aoko Blue carbon steel knives. The double beveled blades have fantastic geometry and edge holding.

Comes in a Paulownia wood box with a fitted saya.  Interior box style and color may vary.

CAUTION: All Carbon steel blades will patina through regular use and may rust if left wet. This is not a defect, it is a product of the material that comes with carbon steel's ability to take a finer edge, which is why it is preferred by many chefs. This is NOT a stainless steel.
