Warranty

We offer a limited lifetime warranty, and warrant the knife against material and manufacturing defects for the life of the product, with the understanding that knives are tools for a specific purpose and using them for anything other than food preparation is not covered. Use on ingredients containing bones, frozen foods or unusually hard foods (chocolate, nuts, wood) is at the owner's risk and any damage will not be covered by this warranty. 

Kikuichi knives are not meant to be cleaned in a dishwasher and doing so will void this warranty.  

Kikuichi offers lifetime sharpening for the costs of shipping (both ways) paid by the knife owner. Knives may be returned for examination and it is at our sole discretion whether or not a knife will be repaired or replaced under this warranty. 

Kikuichi does not warrant its products against normal wear, misuse nor product modifications. Natural materials, including wood handles, require additional care and are not suited for certain environments, such as dishwashers.  Damages resulting from use other than intended, may be repaired or reconditioned for a reasonable fee.
