Ordered the larger size and it works perfectly for finger and toe nails. The texture of the file on the handle also helps you hold and control the clipper while in use. It's very sharp and cuts through the nail as opposed to the more chopping like action of regular store bought clippers....much smoother finish on the nail. I did remove the plastic clippings catcher to not get in the way of nail cutting. It also takes away from the attractive clipper. It looks like a luxury item but it's very well made and very functional. Functionally, no store bought clipper will even come close.
